Overall this is a very great sword, beautiful and strong, and was delivered quickly . Got it to see if it would be worth the $30 and for the thick steel it is, but other wise not so much. The point is sharp from the get go. Let's get the bad out of the way: The handle is horrible. My only real concern was that the guard was hollow. This thing will definitely take a lot of punishment. Both the sword and the leather sheath are highly detailed. It is shipped decently sharp, but if you feel the need to sharpen it I'm sure it would not be that difficult. I epoxied the wooden grip on with JB Weld and took off the fake leather wrap, replacing it with real leather. Spartan Swords are 29 inches in all and include a scabbard. Overall I think this sword is pretty good. but over all cool sword only problem was loose wrapping on handle note to ad a lot lighter than expected swings easy one handed it is a cool sword. The guards are cheap and hollow. It was better than I thought it would be the silver part next to the blade was not near as large as shown on the picture. The leather on the handle is put on poorly, so itl push towards the bottom if you use it, but thats easily fixed with more leather and you dont need the leather anyway. I suggest when you get this,unscrew the pommel and put a washer between the handle and the pommel,it'll keep you from cracking the handle like I did when I had to tighten the pommel.
